Kelmscott Studio is an interior design studio with an arts and crafts vibe. We follow the principle of reclaim and reuse, with a respect for natural materials and traditional methods. The understated beauty and integrity of the materials we use speak for themselves and show case the skills and handiwork of the makers.

We design and make as much as possible, partnering with a small team of highly skilled, trusted designers and crafts people. This allows us to oversee every detail of the process and ensure quality.

Our projects range from the remodel of a single room to complete renovation of a home, from Cotswold cottages to Grade 1 listed townhouses. Getting to know our clients is important to us, this is what enables us to produce a space that makes them feel at home, happy and surrounded by the things they love. All our commissions start with a detailed conversation to establish how we can design a space that is both practical and beautiful.

Jodey Collorick is the creative force behind Kelmscott Studio, where over 25 years as an interior designer and master craftsman come together to create interiors that are timeless, understated, and beautifully made.

Before founding his studio, Jodey spent two decades as Head Decorator at Plain English, the celebrated cabinetmakers known for their modern-classic style and devotion to traditional craftsmanship. His instinctive eye for colour, proportion, and detail drew clients to him for guidance on everything from paint palettes to sourcing one-of-a-kind furniture. As appreciation for handmade design grew, Jodey saw the perfect moment to forge his own creative path.

Creativity runs in his blood. Raised in a hands-on, artistic home — his mother crafting soft furnishings, his father restoring antiques — he was restoring furniture alongside his father by sixteen. Those early lessons in materials, technique, and patience became the foundation for his approach to design..

He went on to run his own business restoring and painting furniture, often adding bespoke decorative finishes right in clients’ homes — a process that deepened his connection to craftsmanship and people alike. Eventually, that curiosity led him to study Interior Design at Chelsea College of Art and Design, bringing together formal training and a lifetime of practical knowledge.

Today, through Kelmscott Studio, Jodey continues to create interiors that celebrate craftsmanship, that tell stories and age gracefully.
